Unarguable Rules - These rules must be followed, no if's, and's, or but's.

• I will only affiliate with Pokémon or mainly Pokémon websites, not forums, oekakis, or RPGs. A website with any of these is fine.


• Your site needs to be in English, with good spelling and grammar. Please do not use chatspeak.


• Your site must have no adult or stolen content. Mild swearing is fine within reason. Anything copied from another site will not be tolerated.

Good Impressions - I won't decide to affiliate or not based only on these, but following these guidelines will definitely help your chances.

• Please act polite and mature when you contact me. If you've asked for affiliation before and I've declined, please don't send me the same email you did last time.


• Your site should be pretty active. Try to update at least a few times a month, the more, the better. Try to add something with each update, too.

Layout - A layout is the first thing a visitor will see, so make sure it's good.

• Your layout should be easy to navigate. Have the same layout and menu on every page.


• Use eye-pleasing colors. Don't mix colors like neon green and bright red. Try not to use background images, and if you do, it should be very subtle and soft.


• Make sure the text is easily readable. If you have to highlight it to read it easily, then you should change some colors.


• Your layout needs to show me that you put effort into it. Anything you haven't made yourself will not be accepted under most circumstances. This includes Freewebs pre-made layouts and unedited free layouts from other websites. Edited templates from other sites are fine as long as proper credit is given, but a layout you made yourself is best.


• Your layout should look nice, and an original or creative twist to it is a good thing to have.

Content - This is mainly what I'm looking for in a website. If you don't qualify here, I won't affiliate with you.

• Your website must have a decent amount of content. 15 completed pages is an excellent guideline. These pages should be well-written and interesting. Pages such as "Affiliation", "About Me/The Site", "Thanks", etc. do not count. Pages composed entirely or almost entirely of links or images do not count. Interactive pages/games will count only if it's something you made yourself, so things like the Skating Pikachu game or Raise a Pikachu will not count.


• Out of those pages, at least 5 should be something interesting and creative that's not commonly seen on the internet. Think outside of the box!


• Your content needs to be well-written. A page is more than a paragraph or two. Go in-depth on the topic and explain. Try and space things out on the page; it's much easier to read if there's spaces between paragraphs and long paragraphs are broken up. An image or two will also spruce up your page, if it relates to the topic.

If your site hasn't been updated in months, I may remove your link, possibly without warning. If you come back, let me know, and I'll put your link back up. Also, if your site goes on a hiatus and my link isn't displayed somewhere, I may remove your link as well.
