Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team are two highly original Pokémon games. Red Rescue Team is for Gameboy Advanced, and Blue Rescue Team is for Nintendo DS. Except for differences in menus and maps, the games are virtually identical. There are a few Pokémon initially only available in one version or the other, but you can find codes to unlock these Pokémon, so to speak.
In the beginning of these games, you wakes up to discover that you've been turned into a Pokémon! You take a quiz to determine which Pokémon you've become, based on your personality. In the world of Pokémon where you have found yourself, there are teams called Rescue Teams. Rescue Teams take jobs from other Pokémon, usually rescuing a Pokémon from a dungeon, finding an item for a Pokémon, or escorting someone to a Pokémon in a dungeon. There are also plot-specific quests that you undertake.
